We have a winner of the group avatar contest, Ferox! Here is her winning entry: i.picasion.com/pic45/f6d8ee1b3… which will shortly be uploaded. For those of you who weren't a member at the time this contest was going on, or simply had no idea about it at all, then don't worry! Me and Ferox are going to plan many more competitions, so you guys can interact with the group more.

So, the next competition is going to be a Spriting contest. What you have to do is make your own sprite, of a fakemon you have designed. It must be a completely new fakemon as well, not one that someone else has created or a normal Pokemon with something simple like wings added. Be imaginative, be creative! This website: www.dragonflycave.com/recolori… will teach you how to make sprites if you are unfamiliar with the term. Remember, your entry must be a splice and must be sent to the new contest folder, when completed. Then sent a note to the group with a link to your entry, or comment on this blog with a link to it. If you are confused about what to do fully, simply comment on this blog entry. The full rules are:

* Your entry MUST be a Sprite.

* Your entry must be a scratch, which means it is completely made up.

* Your entry must be submitted by the closing date of the contest, the 26th November. That's right, you've got a whole month!

* Your entry should be imaginative, give it a go even if the whole idea of of 'Spriting' and 'Scratching' is new to you.

* Obviously, don't make your fakemon gory or have mature contents

Soon, I will upload examples of scratches so you get a rough idea. I hope everyone competes, as the winner will receive:

* Their Fakemon placed somewhere permanently on Pokemon-SpriteLovers profile

* A llama badge

* And a free commission made by me, see my profile for more, it can be anything of wjat I offer except a large or extra large Sprite Scene.

So, happy spriting! On another note, we now have an official FAQ and set of rules. I hope to see some wonderful sprites.

The group is also getting a bit larger and we are considering becoming a Super Group. If you want us to become even better, donate points here: venesauroar.deviantart.com/ , they will all be donated to this group. All donations are very kind and generous. To make this group larger, it would also be good to recommend this place to your friends and they can even enter the sprite contest too, if they become members.

Okay, I'm a bit confused...it has to be a splice, which is a combination of two pokemon, but it has to be scratch, so completely made up. So, we have to combine two pokemon, but make the sprite from scratch...? Help? :O
